Hello,
This will be a quick post.
I am asking for everyone to please pray for a dear friend and family in Arkansas. A tragic crime was taken on a wonderful, bright, amazing cheerful anchorwoman, Anne Pressly at Channel 7 news in Little Rock Ar. She was beaten severely in the head, face and upper body. She has been in critical condition all week and was thought to recover, but sadly with a heavy heart she passed away tonight on saturday, Oct 25th. I am extremely sadden to hear about this awful attack on such an amazing woman. I knew Anne when I was working at the LRRC, she always came to the club at night to work out, she was so much fun and we had some wonderful conversatins. She always knew how to brighten up a room.
I pray that god will give her family peace and comfort as they try to cope with this tragic loss. I can not even imagine how terrible it must feel to loose a child. My heart aches just writing this post. I know all arkansans are mourning this loss and I too am mourning in Texas.
Everyday is so incredibly precious and we are not guaranteed tomororw. Hug your family tight, tell them you love them always. I know I am extremely grateful for our families, their health and love.
God Bless.

Busy Week
Hello.

The past couple of weeks I have been faced with more situations to just surrender my worries to God, I have realized that becoming a "worry-wart" never gets me anywhere. I have been praying daily that god help me surrender my worries, frustration and anixety over to him. Hopefully, I can deal with the problems better knowing that God is on my side and that his everylasting faith and love will bring me peace through the coming weeks. I am exteremly blessed to have such a powerful support group, I love my family and Husband for all they do for me.
This week has been very busy for both us.Jason has had a busy week with work. We have both been so tired every night. School has been insanly busy this week, I think my professors are wanting me to drop out. I have a big paper next week and 2 important tests. I guess you could say I am incrediably anxious to get next tuesday over with and completed. I also have been working alot at the Belk Grand opening, the Clinique counter is gorgeous and doing great. The grand opening was fantastic, I got to meet Christain Lablace (from Young and Restless, Michael Bladwin). Not to mention the Belk store is less than 1 mile away from our house, talk about zero commute. It was wonderful.
Through all the maddness of this week, I still got to have a little "me" time and went shopping for house stuff, what I love to do most :)
Here are some pictures of the mantel, I have been hunting down Toparies for awhile and finally found some that I liked. I alsogot fall-leaf garland for the mantel(if you look close there is corn attached througout, very festive :)

FALL HAS ARRIVED
Mom and I decided to design this pot with a great fall arrangment. We had so much fun picking out the red mums and cat tails that are in this pot. She really helped to show me how to make a great pot arrangement. I love looking at this pot everyday outside my front door.
I compeletly feel in love with thsi wheel-barrel.My mom and I found this rod iron wheel barrel at a great little store called Southern Flair. We filled it with fall garland leaves and pumkins!
Fall has definatly arrived in Texas. I have been decorating our home from the inside out. This past weekend my mom and I were on a hunt to find the perfect outdoor fall decorations for "our first fall season in our home". I was thrilled to begin decorating our home for the first time. My dad kept telling Jason " see what happens when your in laws come to visit, we decorate your home". Jason just laughed and said it was a girl thing. Which he is right, I love decorating and he loves to watch. :)
Fall is one of my favorite seasons. I am excited about all the leaves changing, the cooler temps and the holidays. Jason and I do find ourselves missing Arkansas around this time because it's just so beautiful and colorful. We have so many great pictures and memories to remind us of the season. I am looking forward to enjoying the Texas fall this year.

My First Blog... EVER
Here is my first attempt to this blogging thing. I am very excited about having this opportunity to connect to family and friends that we don't get to see on a daily basis. I love talking on the phone, but there isn't always enough time to tell everyone what is happening everyday. This makes it so easy.
Jason and I are HAPPILY MARRIED and loving life. We got married in June 2008. Our wedding was amazing and everything we ever wanted. I loved planning our wedding, it was truly a "labor of Love". I would love go back in time and just watch the entire the day unfold. I guess you could say I do that through our wonderful pictures. We are extremely busy and sometimes it feels like life will never slow down. We are busy with work, school and trying to juggle all the daily tasks everyone deals with. I love being a wife, I love doing "wifely" things, but it can get overwhelming with work and school. That's when you take a deep breath or watch a funny cat video on YouTube. :)
