Can you say Green?
"The Bloch's are going green"
Jason and I decided to paint our office/craft room over the thanksgiving holiday and somehow I totally forgot to blog about this exciting adventure. We always have the same problem every time we paint. It always happens the same way, we go to get the paint and are 100% happy with the color that we have pondered over for days, maybe weeks. There is no doubt in our mind that this is the color we have been looking for. We get home and start painting and it never fails- we start asking each other " Do you still like it? Do you think its to light?Dark?" It's beginning to look different and we are both trying to figure out if we need:
A. more paint
B. let it dry longer
C. we totally picked the wrong color and both don't wait to admit it. :)
After pondering the idea of having an accent wall and painting the non-color walls a light beige color, we decided to go on with the other 3 walls and finish the job we started. It seems like every time we paint we contemplate some new idea and then go back to our original idea and believe it or not we always LOVE the end result. We laugh now, but I must say we were very serious that day. we both did not want to have to repaint this room. This was my baby, my 1st ever craft/office room where I finally have a place to do whatever I want, whether its scrap booking, crafting or organizing I can do as I please. Hopefully soon I will find a table that is the right size, more organization containers to help better the mess.
We both love how the room turned out. It has so much more character. You can not walk into this room and not smile, it's impossible. The room gives so much inspiration and happiness to both of us.

The front wall of the room looking into the front yard of the house. Can you see our lazy cat, that is his chair only and he sits there pretty much 90% of his days watching the birds, cars and everything else exciting that happens :) Oh, don't mind my crazy husband who thought he would sneak into my picture.

Another view of the room. Right side of the wall. Again, don't mind that crazy hubby :)
Here is the before picture of the office. It is not a great picture, sorry for the blurriness. It gives you an idea how bad this room was screaming for paint.

By the way, guess who loves the christmas tree. The tree is one of his favorite hiding spot during the holiday season. He was so sad when we took it down yesterday. Poor baby. He is so spoiled.
